A special thanks to the Rotary Club of McMinnville which spearheaded the successful "Uncorked" The Oregon Wine & Art Auction at Methven Family Vineyards. The Foundation raised over $23,000 in the paddle raise as a direct donation from passionate and caring supporters. We are so fortunate to be a part of a community that cares for its own!

Mark your calendar!!  This year’s “Uncorked” The Oregon Wine & Art Auction event will be held on Saturday, July 9^th 2011.  The Rotary Club of McMinnville will once again feature an amazing day at Methven Family Vineyards, with an evening of food, wine, friends, entertainment, and unique auction items to raise funds for the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation, Virginia Garcia Memorial Foundation and the Rotary Club of McMinnville Charities. 

This is a one of a kind experience event with limited ticket availability.  There will be over 10 wineries on hand to pour throughout the evening, live music and a beautiful view of Oregon wine country.  To check out more information or to sign up for this year’s event, please check out: http://www.theoregonwineandartauction.org/. 

We thank wholeheartedly our guests, sponsors, donors, volunteers, pouring wineries, vendors, musicians and all who made this event possible and contributed to its success.  A special thank you to the Rotary Club of McMinnville members for hosting this event and all their continued efforts to give back to organizations that serve our community.  In the past year, this event rose over $184,000 for our three worthwhile charities.

Next year's event date will be on Saturday July 9, 2011 at Methven Family Vineyards.

The foundation was presented a check for $49,155. This surpassed all expectations! Thank you to everyone that has given or has made a personal sacrifice to make this happen. We appreciate all that you do!

The Wine and Art Auction had a wonderful turnout and a fabulous venue at the Methven Vineyards. The foundation raised upwards of $31,000 in the paddle raise during the auction. We are so proud to be an active part in this event!
