9th Annual!!!

The 9th Annual Barium Cup Golf Classic will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Michelbook Country Club! Get ready for a fun day filled with an 18-hole golf tournament complete with course games and prizes. In the evening we will have a catered dinner followed by an amazing live auction complete with sports memorabilia, trips and priceless collectible sports items. Not only will you have fun, but it is for a good cause with proceeds benefitting the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation!

The 8^th Annual Barium Cup Golf Classic, a benefit for the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation, was a huge hit! We had 66 golfers in attendance at Michelbook Country Club on Monday, September 27^th on a beautiful sunny day to play an 18-hole golf tournament. The event grossed over $80,000 for the Cancer Foundation in continuing to support local cancer patients in the communities we serve with financial assistance. We have fantastic volunteers and wonderful sponsors in our area that have supported our organization in this fundraiser throughout the years and we are so pleased to have a wonderful relationship with them and all their support.

The tournament was followed by a wonderful catered dinner at Michelbook, followed by a raffle drawing, awards, trophies and our great live auction. The auction was led by JillMarie Wiles, auctioneer extraordinaire, and featured many amazing sports memorabilia items and one-of-a-kind golf trips. We also had our Special Appeal where attendees got to “Raise the Paddle” as a donation to our organization.

We are so pleased with the turnout and support for our largest fundraising event! Thank you to all those that assisted in making it such a success!

Annual Golf Tournament and Sports Dinner Auction with Special guest celebrity Kevin Towers (GM for the NY Yankees) and hosted by the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation.
